How long will it take to process my Installment Payment Plan?

Your Installment Payment Plan will be processed instantly and will reflect on your card statements after that.

What are the tenure options for an Installment Payment Plan?

You can choose to repay over 12, 18, 24, 36 or 48 months.

Is there a minimum amount I need to spend on my Credit Card to apply for an Installment Payment Plan?

A retail transaction amount of AED750 is required to avail our Installment Payment Plan option on your applicable Credit Card.

Can supplementary cardholders apply for an Installment Payment Plan?

Spends on supplementary cards are eligible for Installment Plans, but only Primary Card holders can raise an IPP request.

What happens if I am unable to repay an installment?

If you miss the monthly payments, the plan will be foreclosed and the full outstanding including foreclosure fees will become due. Regular finance charges will then apply.

Can I cancel my existing Installment Payment Plan and will I be charged?

Yes, you can cancel an existing installment plan by calling us on 600 54 0000. A foreclosure fee of 1% of the principal outstanding plus 5% VAT will apply.

Are there any early settlement charges?

Yes, a foreclosure fee of 1% of the principal outstanding plus 5% VAT will be applicable.

How do I cancel my installment plan and what will happen if I prepay the amount I owe?

You need to call our contact centre on 600 54 0000 to cancel the plan. Once you call and prepay the amount, a foreclosure fee of 1% of the principal outstanding plus 5% VAT will be applied and your plan will be closed.

If you prepay the amount without calling the contact centre to cancel the plan, plan will remain active and will incur interest.

What happens if I close my Credit Card while an Installment Plan exists?

Active installment plans must be foreclosed first and then your credit card cancellation request can be processed. Foreclosure fees will apply.

Do I lose reward points when I convert my transactions to installment plans?

No, you won’t lose any reward points when you convert your transactions to installment plans with interest.

Is my transaction eligible for a 0% Installment Payment Plan?
