Please find below the applicable terms and related customer notifications for processing of various FX transactions across Emirates NBD services and channels:
FX rates are indicative
Warning: This product/service may be affected by changes in foreign currency exchange rates.
Exchange rate displayed on transfer pages are indicative. Prevailing rates will be applied at the time of processing.
Processing time
Warning: The actual time to complete a transaction may differ from estimates due to increased scrutiny of transactions by the correspondent bank/financial institution or entity providing financial services to the beneficiary of remittances.
Penalties & Fees
Warning: Penalties and Fees may be applied if there is a customer error or omission in providing correct or incomplete information for remittances.
Ensure accuracy of details provided prior to submitting the transfer request. In case if customer provides incorrect or incomplete details transactions will be rejected & refunded at prevailing exchange rates and loss if any will have to be borne by the remitter.
Additional fees by correspondent bank
Warning: Additional fees may be levied by the correspondent bank/financial institution or entity providing financial services to the beneficiary of remittances.
The beneficiary payout amount may be subject to additional costs. Correspondent bank charges may be applicable subject to currency, destination country/bank and amount basis selection of charge code.

Cooling-off waiver
Customer agrees to waive cooling-off period for the FX transaction as it requires immediate processing.
Ensure accuracy of details provided prior to submitting the transfer request. To cancel or recall any transfer sent, contact the Emirates NBD call center/branch for submitting the request within 24 hours. The processing of such request is subject to refund/reversal confirmation from beneficiary or correspondent bank. Exchange loss amount, if any, shall be levied in such cases.

يرجى الاطلاع أدناه على الشروط المطبقة والإشعارات ذات الصلة الخاصة بـالعملاء والمتعلقة بمعالجة المعاملات المنفذة بالعملات الأجنبية المختلفة عبر خدمات وقنوات بنك الإمارات دبي الوطني:
إن أسعار العملات الأجنبية هي أسعار إرشادية
تحذير : يخضع هذا المنتج (أو الخدمة) بالتغييرات التي تطرأ على أسعار الصرف بالعملات الأجنبية.
إن أسعار الصرف المذكورة على صفحات دليل التحويل هي أسعار إرشادية فقط وهي تخضع للتغيير والتعديل. سيتم تطبيق أسعار الصرف السائدة عند إجراء عملية التحويل.
وقت المعالجة
تحذير : قد يختلف الوقت الفعلي اللازم لإتمام المعاملة عن الوقت التقديري له نتيجة للتدقيق الزائد لـ المعاملات المنفذة من قبل البنك المراسل/ المؤسسة المالية أو الجهة التي تقدم خدمات مالية للمستفيد من عمليات التحويل.
العقوبات والرسوم
تحذير : قد يتم فرض رسوم في حال وجود خطأ من قبل العميل أو في حال تقديم معلومات غير صحيحة أو غير مكتملة عند إنشاء عملية التحويل.
يرجى التأكد من دقة المعلومات و التفاصيل قبل إنشاء عملية طلب التحويل . وفي حال ارتجاع مبلغ التحويل بسبب عدم صحة البيانات المقدمة أو بسبب عدم كفايتها فسيتم رفض عملية التحويل وإرجاع المبلغ بحسب سعر الصرف السائد وسيتحمل العميل المحول اي خسائر متكبدة نتيجة لذلك.
الرسوم الإضافية المطبقة من قبل البنك المراسل
تحذير : قد يتم فرض رسوم إضافية من قبل البنك المراسل / المؤسسة المالية أو الجهة التي تقدم خدمات مالية على المستفيد من عمليات التحويل.
قد يخضع المبلغ المدفوع للمستفيد لتكاليف أو رسوم إضافية. تُطبق الرسوم من قبل البنك المراسل وفقاً لــ العملة, الوجهة أو الدولة ، البنك والمبلغ وذلك على أساس المصاريف المطبقة والرسوم في بلد الدفع أو البنك المراسل.

التنازل عن فترة السماح للإلغاء
يوافق العميل أنه لن توجد فترة سماح للإلغاء عند تنفيذ أي معاملة بالعملات الأجنبية لأن مثل هذه العمليات تتطلب معالجة فورية.
يرجى التأكد من دقة التفاصيل المقدمة قبل تقديم طلب التحويل. لإلغاء أو لإسترجاع أي عملية تحويل تم إرسالها، اتصل بمركز الاتصال أو أي من فروع بنك الإمارات دبي الوطني لتقديم طلبك خلال 24 ساعة من وقت تنفيذ العملية. ستخضع معالجة مثل هذه الطلبات لشرط إستلام إشعار تأكيد عملية الإسترجاع أو الإلغاء المستلم من قبل المستفيد أو البنك المُراسل بعملية التحويل. سيتم في مثل هذه الحالات تحصيل أي مبلغ تمّ خسارته خلال تنفيذ عملية صرف العملة الأجنبية.

Telegraphic Transfer is one of the remitting products which allows customers to transfer money locally and internationally in any remitting currency via SWIFT.
Multiple banking channels are enabled for Telegraphic Transfer including Emirates NBD branches, Online Banking, and ATMs. IVR can be used only for registered beneficiaries.
Telegraphic Transfer fees vary due to various factors such as amount, currency, correspondent bank involved, selection of charge code and channel used.
The prevailing exchange rate will be displayed on Online Banking or smartBUSINESS at the time of performing the transaction. In branches, the staff will advise the clients the applicable rate of the selected currency.
Special rates are subject to meeting the minimum threshold amount. The minimum threshold amount to obtain a special rate approval for USD/AED is AED 500,000. For other than USD/AED the minimum threshold amount is AED 100,000.

Cut off times varies depending on the currency and the channel used. Please find the cut off times for major currencies for Telegraphic Transfer as follows:
If the Telegraphic transfer request is submitted prior to the cut off times, transaction requests will be processed the same day.
Note: If the telegraphic transfer request is submitted post the cut off times, prevailing exchange rate of the next working day will apply.
You can remit funds to any country except sanctioned countries.
Segment limits are applicable for Online Banking transfers as mentioned below:
There is no limit for requests submitted in the Branches.
Once we start processing your transfer, the transferred amount should be credited to the beneficiary approximately within 2 to 3 working days.
2 to 3 working days are set as the turnaround time for processing Telegraphic Transfers. However, incomplete applications or requests which require further details would be processed after obtaining the required details.
You have the option to choose who pays the charges including Emirates NBD transfer charges, correspondent and beneficiary bank charges. You can opt to pay all charges, share the charges with the beneficiary (receiver) or ask the beneficiary to pay.
The beneficiary will be liable to pay all charges if you select the 'BEN' option. In this case, the amount will be deducted from the amount being remitted. If you select 'SHA', charges will be shared by both the sender and the beneficiary. If you select 'OUR', you (the sender) will pay all charges and the recipient receives the entire amount, except in countries that don't have a charge-back system such as the USA.
As per the US banking practice, payments sent with charge Code "OUR" are re-classified into charge code "SHA" as in there is a fee deduction when funds are transferred between banks in the US. This is a not a duplicate charge; the Beneficiary ("Receiver") may expect an additional deduction from the funds received for settlement of any pending correspondent(s) bank charge(s). The charges may vary depending upon the fees & charges of the respective correspondent bank(s).
A confirmation will be sent to your registered email address once the amount is debited from the account.
You can place a request to stop or cancel a transfer by calling +971 600 54 0000. Any exchange rate losses will be charged to you. Please keep in mind that most transfers can't be recalled, but we'll do our best to help you.
Customers are able to raise a standing instruction request for future/ recurring transfers every week/ month based on their choice. To setup a future dated telegraphic transfer or recurring telegraphic transfer, you can either visit your nearest branch as per your convenience or perform the same via Online Banking. Applicable charges vary based on the customer segment. Please refer to the Schedule of Charges for more details.
For standing instruction request submitted in branches, customers are required to visit the branch and submit the standing instruction amendment form for amendment requests.
For standing instructions scheduled via Online banking, customers need to login to Online Banking --> Select the Transfer option --> Select Standing Instruction. Amendment option will be displayed against each scheduled Standing instruction.
Your IBAN has 23 alphanumeric characters and will always start with a two-letter country code. It also contains the bank code and your account number. All UAE IBANs will start with AE. You can check your IBAN through Online banking or Mobile banking or simply generate your IBAN by clicking here.

Please provide the mandatory information: the Account Title provided is the same as your Emirates NBD Account Title, along with valid 23 digit IBAN
You will need to inform the Remitter to notify the Sender bank to check the status of the transaction to provide revised instructions of Telegraphic recall or amendment if possible.
