Emirates NBD underlines commitment to customer centricity with inauguration of Wafi Mall branch

Consolidates Emirates NBD's presence in shopping malls
Demonstrates customer centricity and convenient banking

Dubai, April 22, 2014: Emirates NBD, a leading bank in the region, today announced the opening of its new branch at Wafi Mall, which is in line with the bank's strategy to focus on customer centricity and convenient banking, while consolidating its presence in in busy shopping areas particularly in malls.

The branch was officially inaugurated by Shayne Nelson, Group Chief Executive Officer, Emirates NBD, in the presence of senior members of management at the bank.

The location of the new branch is in keeping with Emirates NBD's focus to provide an array of personal and business banking solutions at the convenience of customers. It will offer Emirates NBD's complete spectrum of best in class banking solutions designed to meet the personal and professional requirements of retailers and shoppers alike.

Commenting on the side-lines of the inauguration ceremony, Suvo Sarkar, General Manager – Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Emirates NBD, said: "At Emirates NBD, we focus on providing banking solutions at customers' convenience through leveraging our strength of an extensive network of branches. The opening of Wafi Mall branch further strengthens our presence in shopping malls and is primarily driven by our strategy to providing services to customers – whenever and wherever they need us."

Located on the ground floor of Wafi Mall, the newly inaugurated branch is open Saturday to Thursday from 10 AM to 9PM, to provide customers the full range of retail banking facilities. Designed to empower and enable customers to conduct transactions through alternate channels, the Wafi Mall branch delivers a completely new customer experience.
