Emirates NBD celebrates 45th National Day across the UAE

The largest bank in the UAE, Emirates NBD marked the occasion of UAE National Day across its branches and offices in the country.

Dubai, 30 November, 2016: The largest bank in the UAE, Emirates NBD marked the occasion of UAE National Day across its branches and offices in the country.

The celebrations focused on unity, the spirit that brings together all the diverse communities of the UAE, and marked the strength of the national security, knowledge and prosperity of the nation. Activities included traditional Emirati performances, games handicraft and food and heritage displays that brought together all of the bank’s staff and senior management to commemorate the milestone forty fifth anniversary of UAE National Day.

Commenting on the occasion, Hesham Abdulla Al Qassim, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, Emirates NBD said: “As a bank of the nation, Emirates NBD is proud to celebrate the forty fifth UAE National Day. Our country has come a long way under the vision and leadership of our beloved founding fathers and our current rulers. Emirates NBD has grown along with the nation and today is a key player in the global financial services market, reflective of the UAE’s position as a key international player in economic and developmental policies. We would like to take the opportunity to wish all our customers from all the diverse communities on this joyous occasion and take a moment to appreciate the unity that brings us all together.”     

In addition to the bank’s branches in the UAE, Emirates NBD offices across the region as well as branches in Egypt and the United Kingdom marked the occasion as a symbolic gesture of international cooperation.
