Welcome to a world of rewards with your Darna Credit Card. You can redeem your Darna Points at over 1,200 Aldar destinations. At the POS, you must dip your credit card into the machine and select Darna Points for redeeming the points. For partial redemption, you can split the amount into two transactions when needed.

Your Darna Points will be valid for a maximum period of 2 years.

Do I need to download the Darna app to redeem the points?

The redemption of the points can be done through your card at POS by dipping the card into the POS machine and choosing Darna points as payment method. There is no need to download the Darna app for this way of redemption.

If you download the app and link your card, you can redeem for gift cards, cashback etc. Please note, any queries or complaints related to redemption or redemption value through the Darna app should be addressed to Darna Loyalty support.

Do I forfeit the points if I convert my spends into installments?

If you convert the purchases within the Aldar ecosystem, then you will not forfeit the points. However, you will forfeit points if you convert non-Aldar spends into installments.

How long are Darna Points valid for?

Darna Points are valid for 2 years.

Can I apply for an Emirates NBD Credit Card if I don't have an account with the bank?

Yes, you can.

Do all transactions on my credit card earn Darna Points?

Only retail spends earn you Points. Loans on your card, cash advances, bank fees and charges, balance transfers etc. don’t earn Points.

What happens to the Darna Points earned on my supplementary credit card?

Any Points earned on your supplementary credit card will be transferred to the Darna account linked to the primary credit card.

Will I lose the Darna Points I have earned if my card is replaced?

No, you won't lose your rewards, they'll just be transferred to your new Emirates NBD Darna Credit Card.
