Earning Etihad Guest Miles on your credit card spends

You can earn Etihad Guest Miles on your everyday spends by using the Emirates NBD Etihad Guest Elevate or Emirates NBD Etihad Guest Inspire credit cards. Miles can be redeemed for flights with Etihad and other partner airlines, Etihad flight upgrades, hotel accommodation, excursions and shopping.

You earn Miles every time you make a retail purchase or payment using your credit card. The number of Miles you earn differs based on the type of transaction and the card you’re using.

Please note that effective the 25th of June 2025, below Earn Rate per AED 10 Spends will be applied:

Express Miles	50% more with Express Miles for a nominal fee of AED 262.5

Transfer of Miles to Etihad Guest Account and redemption

All the Miles you earn on your card will be automatically transferred to your Etihad Guest account every statement cycle. This account is opened for you at the time you subscribe for the card.

The redemption of the Miles is available only through the Etihad Guest Programme, and it is governed by the requirements and terms and conditions of the Etihad Guest Programme.

How long will my Etihad Guest Miles be valid for?

How long does it take for my miles to reflect in my Etihad Guest account?

All regular Miles and Express Miles earned in a statement cycle on the card account will be transferred to your Etihad Guest account within 5 days after the statement date.

Do all transactions on my credit card earn Miles?

Only retail spends earn you Miles. Loans on your card, cash advances, bank fees and charges, balance transfers etc. don’t earn Miles. Click here to learn more about eligible transactions.

Who do I contact if I have any issues with my Etihad Miles?

Since my spend is calculated in USD, what conversion rate is used?

We use a fixed conversion rate of USD1 = AED3.672. This rate can change at any time.

What happens to the Miles earned on my supplementary credit card?

Any Miles earned on your supplementary credit card will be transferred to the Etihad Guest account linked to the primary credit card.

Will I lose the rewards I have earned if my card is replaced?

No, your rewards will be transferred to your new Emirates NBD card.
