Receive complimentary access to some of the world’s best airport lounges every time you travel with your Emirates NBD Visa card. Please ensure that your card is active to access this benefit.

Your lounge access benefit depends on the card you hold

From 1 June 2026, the revised airport lounge visit benefits are as follows:

Access airport lounges as part of your card benefits. The number of lounge visits, including complimentary visits, depends on your card type and entitlement.
To unlock your eligible lounge visits, complete one foreign currency transaction equivalent to USD 1 at a physical Point of Sale (POS) or with an international online merchant at least 10 days before your lounge visit.
If the spend requirement is not met, lounge access is available for USD 32 per visit.

How to access the lounge

For a seamless experience when accessing the lounge, do the below:

Download the Visa Airport Companion App from Google Play or App Store
Complete your registration with your eligible Visa card
Find participating lounges and more information regarding your access
Present your digital membership at the airport to access the lounge

This is not applicable to Visa Flexi Credit Card.

FAQs

How can I view my membership details and check the number of visits I available after enrolling?

You can access your membership details from the Membership section in the app footer menu. Your lounge visit entitlement is displayed in both the Home and Membership sections.

I’m having trouble enrolling or logging in to the Visa Airport Companion App. What should I do?

If you are unable to log in because your email address or password is not recognised, use the Forgot Password option to reset your password.

If you still cannot log in or register, please follow these steps:

On the login page, select the Help option in the top-right corner of the screen.
Select the Contact Us form link and complete your details.

How do I find participating lounges at the airport?

In the Explore section of the app, you can browse available lounges by selecting your preferred airport or country. You can also use the Quick Link on the Home screen to view the lounge list.

Can I bring guests with me to the lounge? Do they need to travel with me?

Yes, you can bring guests with you to participating lounges. Guests must be travelling on the same flight. If you do not have complimentary guest visits available, you can bring guests for USD 32 per person per visit. The charge will be made directly to your registered Visa card.

Can I enrol using a Visa card issued outside the Central Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEMEA) region?

Card benefits may vary. Please contact the issuing bank to confirm eligibility for any Visa card issued outside the CEMEA region.

Can I change my registered email address or mobile number later?

Yes, you can change your registered email address or mobile number. To update your mobile number, go to Account and select the pencil/edit icon in your app profile. To update your email address, please contact customer service. They will verify your identity through General Purpose Authentication (GPA) checks before updating the email address linked to your profile.

What happens if email or mobile number verification is unsuccessful during profile creation?

If you cannot verify your email address or mobile number during registration, you can skip this step by selecting Ask me later. When you log in again, you will be asked to verify your mobile number or email address before continuing.

Can I access multiple lounges at the same airport?

GCC and NALP (North Africa, Levant and Pakistan) cardholders are entitled to one complimentary lounge access every 3 hours. Any additional lounge access used within the same 3-hour period will be charged accordingly.

Can I check whether lounge access is complimentary before I travel?

Yes, you can view the status of your complimentary visits by logging in to the Visa Airport Companion App at any time. The Home and Membership sections display the number of visits you are entitled to. The app also shows a list of eligible lounges by airport, so you can plan which lounge to visit during your trip.

How can I raise concern or provide feedback on the Visa Companion App?

For any lounge-related concerns or feedback, log in to the Visa Airport Companion App, go to Account, and select Contact to submit your request.

Do supplementary cardholders get airport lounge access as well?

Yes, supplementary cardholders get the same airport lounge access benefits as the primary cardholder once they register their details on the Visa Airport Companion App. They will need to meet the international USD 1 spend requirement to activate lounge access and complete the spend 10 days before visiting the lounge.

Is airport lounge access free of charge for children?

Free access for children varies by lounge. Please check the terms and conditions of the lounge you intend to visit.

What should I do if I’m declined entry to a lounge?

If your card is eligible for complimentary access to a particular lounge and you are denied entry, please call +971 600 54 0000 and we’ll be happy to help.

Can I access the lounge if I don't have Wi-Fi or mobile data?

Yes, you can enable offline access through your device’s biometrics. Upon registration, you will be prompted to enable offline access, however this must be completed while the App is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data. This feature can also be managed in the 'Account' section under 'Security'. When offline, you will see a prompt on the login page to view your membership without internet. Confirm using your biometrics to proceed.

I’ve used up my lounge visits before this new update was introduced. What do I do?

If I haven’t used my lounge visits, will it be carried forward to the next year?

No. Lounge access will not be carried forward to the following year if unused by December 31.

I received a “Card verification failure” error when trying to access a lounge, but I have met all the requirements. What should I do?

If you receive this error after meeting all requirements, online transactions may be disabled on ENBD X. Please enable online transactions in the app to avoid this issue. Please note that the lounge is unable to verify whether the card is active at the time of entry.

To enable online transactions on ENBD X:

Log in to ENBD X
Tap on the Card through which you are trying to access the lounge
Go to Settings
Select Enable Online Transactions
