How do I apply for a business loan with Emirates NBD?

Applying for a business loan is a simple, guided process supported by your Business Banking Relationship Manager (Business Unit Banking Relationship Manager — BUB RM). To begin, please prepare the following documents: valid trade licence; valid passport and visa copies of authorised signatories; twelve months of bank statements for your company’s primary account; Memorandum of Association (MoA); Power of Attorney (PoA), if applicable; Value Added Tax (VAT) registration certificate; VAT reports for the last four financial quarters; and Corporate Tax registration certificate. What happens next: 1) You submit your loan request through your BUB RM. 2) Your BUB RM prepares and submits your application to our credit underwriting team for assessment, including your loan eligibility, the recommended loan limit and your repayment capacity. 3) Once approved, our loan disbursal team issues a facility offer letter outlining the approved loan amount, monthly instalments (equated monthly instalments — EMIs), interest rate and processing fees. 4) Your BUB RM shares the facility offer letter with you for review, signature and acceptance. 5) After you sign, the BUB RM submits the accepted offer letter to our loan booking team, and the approved funds are disbursed into your Emirates NBD business account. Your Relationship Manager guides you through every step to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.

What are the eligibility criteria for a business loan with Emirates NBD?

Eligibility varies depending on the type of business loan, but most products follow these common requirements: your company must be established and actively operating in the UAE for more than one year; a minimum monthly average balance of AED 50,000 in the company account; and a minimum annual sales turnover of AED 1 million. Your Relationship Manager will review your business profile and recommend the loan solution that best fits your financial goals.

Do I need to provide collateral for a business loan from Emirates NBD?

Collateral may be required depending on the type of loan. Secured business loans, such as a Semi-Secured Business Loan or a Loan Against Property (LAP), require collateral. Unsecured business loans do not require collateral. Your Relationship Manager will guide you through the options and explain any collateral requirements based on your chosen loan product.
