Apple Pay — an easy, secure and private way to pay with your Emirates NBD cards

Add your Emirates NBD debit and credit cards to Apple Pay and make everyday payments with your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad or Mac. Pay quickly and securely wherever contactless payments are accepted.

With Apple Pay, your card information is never stored on your device or Apple servers, nor shared by Apple with merchants. This provides an additional level of protection against fraud.

How to add your card to Apple Pay:

All Visa debit cards, Visa credit cards, Mastercard credit cards and Jaywan Prepaid cards can be added to Apple Pay.

However, Webshopper and Multi-currency prepaid cards cannot be added to Apple Pay.

On the ENBD X App

Open the ENBD X App and go to the Cards section on the dashboard.
Select the card you want to add to Apple Wallet.
Tap the ‘Add to Apple Wallet’ icon below the card.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

On iPhone

Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
Tap (+) ‘Add to Wallet’ at the top right of the screen.
Select ‘Debit or Credit Card’.
Tap your card over your iPhone to scan it.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Apple Watch

On your paired iPhone, open the Apple Watch app.
Scroll to ‘Wallet & Apple Pay’.
Tap ‘Add Credit or Debit Card’.
Complete the verification steps.

On Mac, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro

On your device, open ‘Wallet & Apple Pay’ settings.
- On your Mac model with Touch ID, go to ‘System Settings’ (or System Preferences), then click ‘Wallet & Apple Pay’.
- On your iPad or Apple Vision Pro, go to ‘Settings’, then tap ‘Wallet & Apple Pay’.
Select ‘Add Card’.
Follow the steps on the screen to add a card.

Default card

If you’ve already added other cards to Apple Pay, set your Emirates NBD card as your default card.

From the settings menu:

Tap on ‘Wallet & Apple Pay’
Select ‘Default Card’
Select your Emirates NBD card
You are now ready to start paying with the Apple Pay

How to pay with Apple Pay

Paying in-store:

To pay with your iPhone using Face ID, double-click the side button
Authenticate with Face ID or enter your passcode to open Apple Wallet
If your iPhone has Touch ID, double-click the Home button
Hold the top of your iPhone near the contactless reader until ‘Done’ and a tick appear on the display
To pay with your Apple watch, double-click the side button
Your default card opens automatically
Hold the display of your Apple Watch near the contactless reader until you feel a gentle tap and hear a beep

Paying online or in-app:

To pay online or in-app, tap the Apple Pay button or choose Apple Pay as your payment method during checkout
Confirm the payment using Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode
