Our investment team is ready to advise you on a curated selection of investment options to help you achieve optimum returns on your capital. These include:
Mutual funds are pools of funds collected from many investors for investment in stocks, bonds or other assets. As an investor in a mutual fund, you own units in the fund, which is operated by a professional fund manager who aims to deliver capital gains and income for all the fund’s investors.
Bonds are debt securities issued by governments, corporations or other institutions to raise funds. They can provide a steady flow of investment income, and potentially lower the overall portfolio risks. As an investor in bonds, you typically receive interest payments at specific intervals (“coupon” payouts) and receive your initial capital back on maturity of the bond.
Sukuks are Islamic bonds that adhere to Sharia law, which prohibits interest. They represent the ownership of tangible assets or a special investment activity. The issuer of a Sukuk sells the certificate to you and other investors, who then rent it back to the issuer for a predetermined rental fee. The issuer then buys back the bonds at an agreed future date at the originally paid price.
Structured products are designed to achieve risk-return objectives that are not achievable with traditional investments. When investing in structured products, your return on capital invested may be linked to the performance of an index, a "basket" of selected stocks, or other underlying traditional assets. Structured products may also include an element of principal protection.
Gold Savings Certificates
Gold savings certificates are sold in multiples of 300 grams (999 finesse) and 500 grams (995 finesse), priced against the global spot market. Used for investment or as a gift, each certificate is valid for five years from the date of issue. It can be redeemed against physical gold or the equivalent amount in cash at any time until maturity.
