One debit card for withdrawals from both your accounts

Did you know you can use a single debit card linked to your savings and current accounts? While payments and purchases will always be debited to the primary account, this feature allows you the flexibility to make cash withdrawals at the ATM from both accounts with the same card.

What you should know:

Your debit card can be linked to two accounts only – one must be a savings account and the other a current account
One account can’t be linked to multiple debit cards
Non-AED, Smart Saver Accounts and Skywards Savings Accounts can’t be linked to one debit card
Purchases on the card will always be debited from your primary account which can be changed at any time

The following accounts can't be linked to your debit card:

My debit card is linked to two accounts. Which account will be debited when I make a transaction?

If your debit card is linked to two accounts and you make a purchase or online transaction, your primary linked account will be debited. To know which account is your primary account, you can call +971 600 54 0000 and when prompted, just say ‘link debit card to account’.

How can I check which accounts my debit card is linked to?

You can check which account your debit card is currently linked to on Online or Mobile Banking.

Online Banking

Log in to Online Banking
Click on My Finances
Select Debit Cards > Card details

Mobile Banking

Log in to Mobile Banking
Click on the hamburger menu on the top left of the app
Select Current Accounts or Savings & Deposits
View Debit Card details
Click Link to another account and answer your secret questions

The accounts your debit card is linked to will have a tick mark against them
