As an Emirati, you’re constantly encouraged to enhance your professional qualifications. Especially in areas like audit and accounting with very strong industry standards, we’re fully supported to keep our credentials up to date. You can get your course sponsored financially and even get time off to study.

I was acknowledged by our Chairman, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum along with members from Emirates NBD’s Board of Directors. Seven other Emiratis and I from Internal Audit and Finance were acknowledged for completing the very stringent ACA-ICAEW. This reflects the tremendous support extended to Emiratis, and that is definitely part of our bank’s culture and leadership style.

Subsidiaries across the Group and the bank’s emphasis on career mobility has opened up more opportunities to enhance your career. Moving to Emirates Islamic really increased my knowledge of Islamic banking. We’re seeing more people moving between Emirates NBD and subsidiaries like Emirates Islamic, Liv. and Tanfeeth. That’s especially with the bank’s growing emphasis on career mobility; encouraging everyone to try out new career paths and roles.

My passions in life are the natural environment especially flowers, as well as traveling, and visiting art and design exhibitions. I really believe if you truly love nature, you’ll find beauty everywhere. My favorite cities to travel to are London, Paris, Gstaad, Monte Carlo, Courchevel, Mykonos and Marbella. But of course, I am very blessed to come home to my home, “MyDubai”!

Thank you for your feedback!
