I started my career as a Call Center Agent back in 2004 and progressively worked my way up. I like dealing with people whether it be customers or employees and consider myself a people person.

In two years at Emirates NBD, I’ve accomplished a lot in Business Banking through my sales skills. There’s definitely delivery pressure but the numbers always speak for themselves. As the Head of Client Relationships and Acquisition, I strongly believe in the saying, “if you deliver, you will 100 percent be rewarded for it with new opportunities and growth.”

I’m regularly mentored by our Group Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management; Marwan Hadi. There is a good internal support network here and I aim to do the same for the senior Emiratis working for me. That’s especially by bringing them to leadership meetings and giving them broader organizational exposure, that can guide them in their future.

I like networking with new people on daily basis. I also enjoy taking my boat out on the weekends when the weather is cooler.
