Credit Card Limit Decrease Request

Before you start

Your credit card type will determine your minimum limit . If your outstanding is more than your new limit, we recommend settling the additional outstanding first to avoid over limit fees.
You’ll be asked security questions so we can make sure that it’s you. Be prepared with your credit card number and registered mobile number.
Your request will be processed within 1 working day. Once done, you will receive an SMS with the request details on your registered mobile number.

If your outstanding is more than your credit card limit, you will be charged for going over the limit. The over limit fee is AED 292.95 per month.

You can change the limit of your supplementary credit card through Online Banking.

You can track your previous request by calling us on +971 600 54 0000 and when prompted, say ‘follow up on my request’.
