I started as an intern through Emirates NBD’s National Digital Talent Program. The bank’s culture left a lasting impression on me. I knew I wanted to continue at Emirates NBD beyond my internship.
A conversation with Eman Abdulrazzaq, our Group Chief Human Resources Officer made it clear that Ruwad was the right program for me. I want to be a leader here in the UAE so Ruwad gave me the best chance to do that. I’d love to be the bank’s Chief Technology Officer one day but I’m not limiting myself to an IT career path either.
I was lucky enough to travel overseas as part of my secondment. During these market visits, I worked with global teams on regulations for Web 3.0, digital assets fact finding and security.
I enjoy exploring new interests outside work and bowling is a new one for me. It’s something you can do here all-year-round given the weather. I spend as much time outdoors as possible in the winter, especially off-roading and camping. I’m a car enthusiast too.
