We have a range of current and savings accounts you can choose from based on your needs and financial goals. It may make sense to open more than one account - a checking account and a savings account - so you have access to cash for your daily expenses and enjoy the best interest rates in the market too. If you have children under 18, it's a good idea to open accounts for minors.

We'll help you open your account the same day if you make sure to provide all the documents required when submitting your application.

If you already have an account with us and want to open another Savings or Current Account, you can do so via one of the options below.

Fees & charges

If you're opening a Skywards Savings Account, a one-time joining fee of AED 2,500 will apply. From the 2^nd year onwards, there will be a monthly fee of AED 250.

There are no fees to open any other account with us.

If you’re not holding a payroll account with us, or if you're holding a Company Account, you’ll be required to maintain a minimum average monthly balance based on your banking package. Please note, for every month that this balance is not maintained, you may be charged a fee.

What are Emirates NBD Banking Packages? Do I have to choose one before I open an account?

We'll recommend a Banking Package for you based on your profile. You can have a look at the features and benefits of our packages here.

I have just opened my first account with Emirates NBD. When will I receive my debit card and cheque book?

If you’ve applied for a debit card and cheque book, you'll receive them within 3 to 5 working days of your account opening.

I used the Emirates NBD mobile app to try and open my first account, but didn’t succeed. What should I do now?

You might have to submit additional details. You should receive a call from us to take your request forward. If you don’t, please call us on +971 600 54 0000.

How soon can I start operating my new account?

If you’re a new customer, you can start operating your account as soon as you receive your debit card. Once you activate your card, you can use it for purchases and withdraw cash at ATMs, deposit cash directly to your account through our cash deposit machines, and register for Online Banking and Mobile Banking (ENBD X).
