The Emirates NBD Group is the first banking group in the region to establish a fully dedicated CSR resource which will soon be transformed into the "Emirates NBD Foundation". The Foundation will nurture and guide all of the Group's sustainability efforts and serve as the conduit for all our corporate social responsibility programmers not just in the UAE but over the Group's wider regional presence and expanding global footprint.

For now our CSR initiatives support the communities that have helped sustain Emirates NBD as a banking leader with the largest asset base in the region. Often in organizations CSR is merely limited to a department or initiative. But at Emirates NBD it is truly a way of life, with active participation at all levels. The projects illustrated in this book represent only a few of our initiatives over these past two or three years of activity. These show our commitment to our four key pillars ENVIRONMENT EDUCATION CULTURE and CHARITY.
